I have over 45 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, working across a wide range of roles from operations through to sales and revenue management.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in opening four star hotel restaurants, as well as a number of pub and restaurant concepts for brands such as Country Style Inns and Chef and Brewer. I also led the implementation of EPOS systems for Laurel Pubs, before spending 20 years as Sales and Revenue Manager at Langdale Hotel and Brimstone, where I developed a strong commercial and strategic focus.

In 2020, my husband Nick and I launched our own consultancy, Lancaster and Lancaster. Since then, we have supported a wide range of businesses, working in partnership with organisations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Enterprising Cumbria. Our approach is collaborative and practical, taking the time to listen and work closely with each client to identify opportunities across all areas of their business.

• Revenue Management Certificate, Cornell University

• Contributed to the English National Parks Experience Collection with Cumbria Tourism

• Supported the development of the Norman Nicholson Society walking app

• Produced an e bike infrastructure report for Allerdale Council

• Worked with a range of small businesses to develop sales and revenue strategies, implement booking systems, and deliver wider marketing plans
